I am a Christian, hardworking, homeschooling mama of 4! I have a very loving and supportive husband. I am very thankful that my hubby is supportive because I am all over the place! I have resided in the Bay Area my whole life and love it!
My children age ranges from my oldest born in 1995 to my youngest born in 2006! This past May (2014) I graduated my oldest out of high school and he starts college in the fall of 2014.
I serve in several ministries at our church and I am very passionate towards them. I serve in the youth ministries with the high schoolers. I love getting into deep spiritual conversations with them and challenge them in their relationships with Christ. I was once a lost teen and it's still fresh in my mind the trials I would go through with all the temptations offered by the world. I also went off of God's path for me and was pregnant at the age of 16! Yes, do the math... I was born in 1978 and my son was born my senior year in 1995!
I love teaching preschoolers about Jesus so I serve in the AWANA ministry at my church with our Cubbie program since 2001. I also offer preschool classes in my home and teach primarily phonics.
I feel that I have a uniqueness for starting a blog because I have so much life experience to offer. When you think of a Christian homeschooling mother of 4 starting the Trim Healthy Mama weight-loss journey and starting the doTERRA essential oils journey at the same time who is passionate about ministry... an image pops into your head! A stereo type of sorts! Let me be the first to say that I don't meet the stereo type at all! I am very unique in my every day walk which is why I really wanted to start this blog!
